What am I doing wrong? I did click the "show hidden files and folders" and unclicked the "hide extensions for known file types". It usually means that the AOL Adapter is not properly installed or has gotten corrupted. http://www.dslreports.com/faq/8437 The last days since my Windows 10 upgrade everything has worked fine and today my aol had issues and microsoft word and excel.

Go to http://www.dslreports.com/faq/8437 and follow the detailed instructions there. Aol Browser Problems It’s a security thing, nothing personal. Guess that hanging with them since they started counts for nothing... Thank you for fixing this issue.

When I log on to AOl I get the AOL webpage up but then receive an error message "AOL detected an error with your internet connection. A little scared to do this. During this preview, some members may experience issues with the sharing features of AOL Calendar.why is this? I can sign on to aol and check my mail and that's it. This problem is strange, as I was using AOL 9.0 for years, not changing any settings on my pc, so there was really no reason for this to happen.

Have current version of IE6, and tried repair. I could get on AOL, they even let me check my billing, but when I went to a link the computer would freeze up. It's a program AOL uses to act as a server for high speed connections and it's apparently dependant on the RACM. so first thing you do is find it..I found the INF folder by running a find folders search on my computer.. I am not getting any error at all. When AOL 9.0 installs, it gets to the point where it should detect the modem, but it says "A modem was not found." I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, but same problem. Then click on the compose option on you left hand side of window 5.
