I have a backup policy in my server, that makes a full image. I’m thinking maybe a customised boot disk with nic drivers added. Traffic on JustAnswer rose 14 percent...and had nearly 400,000 page views in 30 days...inquiries related to stress, high blood pressure, drinking and heart pain jumped 33 percent. If I had the image file on the new HD, diff partition - didn't work.

I think it might of noticed the original HD had the image file so it could not do the restore even thou I wanted the destination to be the new HD. It all worked fine but now I can’t work out how to restore it. I have 2 PC’s running Win 7 Ultimate which can communicate together on a Homegroup network using a cross over cable. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Any idea? If I open the backup location, I can clearly see files that correspond to the backup (including 2 vhd files that correspond to the size of the machine's partitions.)
